Of course we needed to go to New York and of course since Megan and Nate live there, we had to stay overnight. We took the train in so the kids ended up on the train, the subway, and the ferry boat.
Happy train ride!

The kids and I at Belvedere Castle in Central Park. Kellie and I were realizing here that we weren't as prepared as we needed to be for kids and walking. We even dropped the water bottles off along with our bags at Megan's place. Doh! We improved as time went on though, and man were we on the ball by the time we got to Boston.
oops...and I'm so blog lazy these days that these sideways pictures are staying b/c I'm not starting this part over.
Times Square
Look at all the room in their apartment. We could have easily fit maybe 2 more people. So fun.
Day 2 we did the Staten Island Ferry and then played at a great park just a bit away from Battery Park. It was a lot of fun. Just what those 'tired of walking' kids needed
The end at Grand Central Station. The kids kind of look as ragged as I think they felt. :)
