Nan and Pop visit--Lexington and Concord and Temple Site

3 months later, I'm ready to catch up on the blog.  There is just something crazy about the end of the year that causes this kind of catch up to go on the back burner.  That's why January is so brilliant.  Catch up time.

Way back in October, my parents came to visit.  We took a day trip to Lexington and Concord up in MA.  It was a beautiful fall day.
The Battle Green in Lexington was beautiful.  Hard to imagine the Revolutionary War...so long ago yet right where we were.  Pretty cool

We went to Waldon Pond, thank you Thoreau.  It was a beautiful place too, although there were more swimmingly dressed old people than I prefer to see on an October day. :)

We took an afternoon and headed to Farmington, CT where our new temple is being built.  The ground had been broken but the real digging hadn't started yet.  It's a great location and is only 35 minutes from our house.  What a difference from the 80 minutes to the Boston Temple.  We can't wait.
