An exciting day at the Singer home....we have a new addition.
After 9 1/2 years of marriage, we have a piano!!! I am SO EXCITED! I checked craigslist for the first time in months a few nights ago and there was a post for a free piano right here in town. The people live a mile from us. Thanks to them and 3 great friends to help Matt tonight, it is now a permanent member of our family. It just feels right having a piano in the house. Now those child prodigys that I know are mine will be able to display their talent that has so long remained hidden because we lacked the instrument. Roll over Beethoven (ha!).Now we just have to hope that they aren't all secretly violinists at heart.

I love it- it looks great and there's nothing better than a FREE piano.... I would love to learn how to play good- I took lessons when i was really young and can do very very very basic stuff ;(

FREE!!! That makes it all the better! Congrats-it is a beautiful piano! Just FYI-if you need to do any touch up on paint or anything, use black nail polish since it has the shine with it-a friend had to do that with hers and you would never know.
Free? Wow, that is so cool. i want a piano bad. I've checked craigslist and considered buying one for cheap, but maybe i should hold out for free!

Yeah!! I know how much you have wanted a piano (all those hints to Matt finally paid off! right?!). Craig List is awesome! Can't wait to hear a little musical number at church by the Singer Family :)
