One look at our life and we realized that this is our last non-filled up Saturday in at least a month. We decided to take advantage and head up to South Deerfield, MA to visit Yankee Candle land. It's been on our to do list and now we can check it off. One down, a billion more places to go.
We had a great time. Lot's of saying "no touching", "remember don't touch", "if you touch, Whitney will try and touch", "that costs a lot of money, just look" and the other repetative "smell this", "smell this one", "ooooo smell this one". Good times.
The 'snow' is falling. It snows every 5 minutes in the wintery part of the store. The kids thought that was great. Annie even got a kick out of it. And yes, we lost her shoe (actually, we didn't even know at this point that it was gone but the camera has the proof), fortunately it got turned in and the search and rescue was called off.
So many fun things to pose by. We took about a kadillion pictures, mainly b/c there were tons of fun photo opps. Kind of silly taking pictures at a candle store if you think about it.
True Royalty!
One of the few 'touchable' things!
This picture is for you Nanu...reminiscent of our time in Buenos Aires...
Only 2 of probably 10 pictures we have of us in front of the Argentine cows.
After our candle excursion, it was over to Richardson's Candy Kitchen for some chocolate. Oh the sin of $18/pound chocolate. Here's the kids loving their chocolate suckers.
My little twins hanging out when we got home. Such good buddies!

Grandma Singer wished that she could go to smell a candle.
She would have listened and obeyed and nothing she would handle.
Yankee Singers keep it up,
Yankee Singers dandy,
Mind the music and the step,
And eat your chocolate candy.
And not one picture of a candle?
The grandma comments are quite witty! Isn't it so sad that those 3 suckers cost you $18?! A Yankee Candle/Richardson Candy Kitchen are always a fun day!
OK, It's 6:00 in the morning. That should be IS a fun day!
you were talking about kids touching everything... a friend of mine taught me to teach kids they can touch something with one finger...if they really can't handle not touching, it's hard to do too much damage with one finger. (though it is possible, so i use it sparingly!) :)
