Happenings...

Life has been full lately.  Nothing super exciting, but full.  We started tiling the basement over Christmas break and have tiled, painted and are almost done with molding.  Excited to have a post of the whole project--hopefully within the week.  Other than that, life carries on and the calendar is full each week whether I want it that way or not.

Here are a few happenings:

Wacky Tacky Day at Mary's school.  We're wacky and tacky at this house, so it was an easy one to pull off.  I love how kids get so excited about the simplest things.

Homemade ice cream.  Annie had to get in on the action and get up on the counter.  She's our only child who has ever been clever enough to just get up on the counter and help herself to whatever she wants.  In this case though, she was really just spying on her ice cream.

I scored a bunch of 5 cent crafts at Michaels and the kids have gone to town.  My kids will spend forever painting.  Here's Whitney with her attention to detail.  This girl has an attention span and is careful with coloring, writing and painting!

We've had 2 small snows-- a 2 incher and 4 incher (not counting the stupid Halloween snow--I prefer not to think back that far).  Annie is our obsessed sledder.  This is what she usually looks like going down b/c the sled starts going before she can get herself situated.

Legos and more legos.  This 'hospital' was worked on for several days and features lots of Hogwarts and Star Wars patients. :) --note...Whit didn't actually help; she just likes to pose
