The Big Bad Wolf

Last week as we had snow days mid-week, we decided to do a puppet show. It was great inspiration since the kids worked on it literally ALL DAY. We decided on The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. In the morning they worked on the actual puppets and the afternoon was spent working on each of their houses. Mary was #1 pig--straw house; Whit was #2 pig--stick house; Andrew was #3 pig--brick house; Annie was mommy pig; of course I was the Big Bad Wolf, I'm always the bad guy.

We have a great kid CD with a song called "The Big Bad Wolf". It tells the story, so the kids didn't even learn lines, we just played the song and they moved their scenery and puppets to go along. we had an evening performance and made a video.

Unfortunately, since then we have had 2 additional snow days and my creativity has struggled. The only blessing has been that the last 2 snow days have been b/c of too much snow on top of the school roofs so we were at least able to leave the house (which we did!).
