Everybody Plays the Fool

What a day at this house! We had so much fun April Foolin' each other.

Matt left for Chicago on Thursday morning so I had to April Fool's his stuff in his suitcase--tie his pajama pants shut, mismatch his socks, etc.

Then yesterday came--Mary and Andrew moved all the stuff in my dresser drawers to Annie and Whitney's dresser drawers and vice versa. I got fooled by that one at least 3 or 4 times!

I rearranged the cereal in the boxes and dyed the milk blue.

The funniest part of the morning was during breakfast when Mary and Andrew started telling me there was a spider on the floor and I didn't believe them. Come to find out, there really was!!

Whitney came up with her idea earlier in the week all on her own--I was quite impressed actually. Here's the regular 'wall of fame' in our kitchen:

And here was Whitney's April Fool's joke on her siblings: cute huh? She makes me smile. We kept foolin' through dinner. Dinner was meatloaf and mashed potatoes morphed into cupcakes. We had kool aid that was really jello!
It actually did taste really good, just a little strange eating 'frosting' that tastes like potatoes. The kids thought it was great though. We redboxed "Tangled" and had a fun movie night. A great end to a great day!

I could be over for dinner in a heartbeat! Sounds good! Love the art-wall transformation, the remodeling of Matt's packed suitcase, and the moved drawers. We had quite a boring day, ourselves :)
