4 Bears in the Bed and the Little One Said...

It's been a nice and really laid back sort of winter break at this house. Mom and Dad haven't set any alarms and kids have woken up on a lot of days at close to the same time. They've loved getting to come to our bed. And really, during the regular routine of life, this is extremely rare. Most always during a typical week, we are up and the bed is made before they are up and moving. As you can see, they love it when they get to kick us out.

Notice Annie's fingers. If she has her blanket nearby (which she does in the picture), she has 2 fingers in her mouth. Never fails-- for Annie, blanket = finger-sucking. It's not making me too crazy yet but when it does, I think the blanket will have to say bye-bye.

This shot cracks me up--3 of the 4 of them are coughing. That has been our true story of Christmas break....everyone has been sick. Mary went to the doctor and was actually diagnosed with mild pnumonia (on top of a ruptured ear drum). Everyone experienced at least one of the following: fever, throwing up, and/or coughing--several lucky ducks experienced all 3!!! Let the good times roll. We know how to have fun!!!

It looks so fun to have all of them snuggled up in the bed. Hope they get better soon!

Oh, my goodness! You didn't tell me about Mary's diagnosis! No wonder she couldn't quit coughing!
